Now I have a clear idea about when I do like my blog and when I don’t like my blog. I don’t like my blog when I try and post things that I think other people will like and will make them want to come visit. I don’t like my blog when I space out my posts so that it appears that I’m posting everyday when actually I’m posting haphazardly.
I DO like my blog when I post because I need to express something. Then I remember that this is an awesome way to share and communicate and I feel proud of what I’m doing here.
I’m going to have to make some changes in the way my blog layout looks/works. Here’s why: I use this blog for two reasons: to express what is just bursting to be expressed AND as a place to bookmark and share links I come across. The problem with the links is that I tend to come across those in large bunches and I don’t want to bombard my subscribers with posts, so I space them out across many days by scheduling my posts. What if I had a “links” section and a “featured” section and my subscribers could just subscribe to the feature section?
Hmmm… ok, blogging and what I’m doing blogging becomes more clear to me in stages.
