Ya know, I’m just not as clever as that clever Tina Fey lady. Or maybe she’s just more hard hitting than I am. Ya know, when my improv group asked me to impersonate Sarah Palin, I didn’t blink. I said, I’ll do it. I’ll do it for our group, and I’ll do it for my country. And then I started researching about Palin. Where did I get my information? Well, I read all the different publications, whatever of the many different publications that was in front of me at the time. Ya know, it’s not like we don’t get the same publications way over here on the internets.
I hate seeing a go-getter woman mocked. She absolutely would be a horrid, horrid, George Bush like president and should be called out on her idiotic and nonsensical statements. BUT did they mock George Bush this way? Would they feel comfortable taking the same tone with a man? It really irks me.

I haven’t done an Illustration Friday post in a Loooonnnggg time! I’m starting the ball rolling again with an illustration I did a few years ago for my very own birthday.
I didn’t have any way to get something I’d made in the real world to the computer, so I made this using a photo of myself, then drew over it with the Windows paint program and then altered it with Picasa. All this using a mouse. I’m excited to see what I can do now that I can take a picture of my art and scan it in.
