The Office
I just watched the first three episodes of “The Office.” The funny thing is, several of the managers at my old office were WORSE. Yes, worse. YES, WORSE! Now, I wish I had been doing an undercover documentary. The thing about Steve Carrol’s manager is, he knows he’s a fake and he’s trying to cover up. My managers actually took themselves seriously. Oh my gosh. Never again. Unless I have an undercover video camera rolling.
Ha, ha! I believe it. Plus, I think one of the secrets of the Office’s longevity is that they do make him a sympathetic character - you never quite despise him.
