Come with me to the Can’t Fail Cafe….

Inspired by Superhero Journal.

What would you do if you couldn’t fail? I feel like I should say practical things, like start my own business. But, come on! I can’t fail! I’m going for the big time.

These are the first things that came to mind:

Run and find some one to love right away!
Have some babies.
Definitely become the president after the kids have grown- and lots more stuff under the president/save the world/public policy heading.
Negotiate peace in the middle east… and everywhere else!
Have dinner parties and invite people I’ve always wanted to meet.

Your turn!

  1. thinking big is good - but i’d like to start small & work my way on up - I’d like to build a mini-boardwalk beside the house that would be at a slight slant - it could be used to push a wheelchair up but it could also be used as a walking exercise place for my elderly father. It would have handrails along the sides.
Yes, if I was a superhero, he could just be made well & all my past ancestors could come back to life. Hmm ~ how about the dinasours?
So, it depends what restriction or reality I bring to bear in the Can’t Fail Cafe.

  2. I like what you’re saying about thinking small. Sometimes those thinking big exercises are just overwhelming to me. I read a book about kaizen- taking small steps, and it was a curious and exciting idea- that you can accomplish big things without the overwhelm by taking small steps!

Ok, the way I’m describing it just makes it sound like the “baby steps” advice in the movie What about Bob? But it really did feel a little revolutionary when I read the Kaizen book. I probably need to read it again and take some small steps today.
